- After panel formation, all metal surface impurities are cleaned off in a degreaser bath.
- An acid bath is used to etch the metal.
- After rinsing and neutralizing, a ground coat is applied to the metal .
- Firing the ground coat at 830 degrees Celsius envelopes the metal in glass.
- A cover coat spray is applied.
- Firing at 830 degrees Celsius approx. develops the full lustre colour of the cover coat.
For additional colours, steps 5 and 6 are repeated.
