Trico V.E. Ltd were chosen as the supplier for a number of Vitreous Enamel Cladding Panels which were installed in the East bore of the Dartford Tunnel, Kent, UK.
Trico were responsible for the Laser cut panel fabrication as well as the Enamel coating process which was a low gloss finish such is the requirement for many road tunnel applications.
The V.E. panels which were manufactured from 1.50 mm Mild Steel, the backing board and the adhesive were supplied in accordance with the necessary Fire regulations and met with the client’s design life expectations.
